Data Deletion Instructions

Effective as of March 16, 2026.

Scalistro AI (“Scalistro”), operated by Balistro, lets you delete the personal information and connected platform data we hold about you at any time. This page describes the three ways you can request deletion and what we do when we receive a request.

1. Disconnect a platform from inside Scalistro

If you have an active Scalistro account, this is the fastest way to remove data we synced from a connected platform such as Facebook, Instagram, Shopify, or Google.

  1. Log in at https://app.scalistro.ai.
  2. Select the brand workspace.
  3. Open Integrations from the left navigation.
  4. Click the platform card you want to disconnect.
  5. Click Disconnect and confirm.

When you disconnect a platform, we clear the stored access token, mark the integration as disconnected, and delete all data we synced from that platform from our systems.

2. Remove Scalistro from your Facebook or Instagram account

You can revoke Scalistro's access to your Facebook and Instagram data directly from Meta. When you do, Meta sends us a signed Data Deletion Request, and we delete the corresponding data automatically without any further action from you.

  1. Open Facebook Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. Go to Apps and Websites.
  3. Find Scalistro in the list of connected apps.
  4. Click Remove.

Meta will then notify our deletion callback. We will:

  • Verify the signed request from Meta (HMAC-SHA256).
  • Clear all stored Facebook and Instagram access tokens we held for your user.
  • Soft-delete every Scalistro integration row tied to your Meta user ID, then hard-purge the data within 30 days.
  • Return a confirmation code so you can verify completion.

To check the status of a Meta deletion request, visit: https://api.scalistro.ai/v1/meta/webhooks/data-deletion/status and enter the confirmation code Meta gave you.

3. Email us to delete your entire Scalistro account

If you want to delete your entire Scalistro account (not just a single connected platform), or if you cannot access the app for any reason, email us:

In your email, please include the email address associated with your Scalistro account so we can verify the request.

We respond to deletion requests within 30 days. Once verified, we delete your account, your brand workspaces, all stored credentials for any connected platform, and all data we synced on your behalf.

4. What gets deleted

When you request deletion through any of the three methods above, we delete:

  • Access tokens and refresh tokens we hold for your connected platforms.
  • Account-level metadata (Facebook Page ID, Instagram Business account ID, Shopify shop domain, ad account IDs, etc.).
  • Content and engagement data we synced from connected platforms (posts, media, metrics, customers, products, orders).
  • AI-generated content and insights derived from your data.
  • For full account deletion: your Scalistro user record, brand workspaces, and memberships.

We may retain limited information where required by law (for example, transactional records for tax or audit purposes), but such information is segregated and not used to provide the Service.
