Before you start
- A Google login with access to the Google Ads account you want to analyze.
- The advertising account's name or customer ID so you can identify it.
- Access through the appropriate manager account, if an agency or manager owns the relationship.
Check Which Google Login Has Access
Sign in to Google Ads with the Google account you plan to use. Confirm that you can reach the advertising account directly or through its manager account. A Gmail address alone does not establish Google Ads access.
If an agency manages your advertising, confirm which customer account contains the campaigns. A manager account can expose multiple clients. Select the intended advertising account, not an unrelated client with a similar name.
Connect Your Advertising Account
Open Integrations in Scalistro.
Check the active brand, find Google, and select Connect. A Google authorization window opens.
Choose the Google login.
Use the account with access to the campaigns you want to review. Review the requested access before continuing. Scalistro uses Google's authorization flow, so do not send your Google password to support.
Select Google Ads Account.
After authorization, choose the intended customer account in Scalistro. Compare the name and account identifier. Where access comes through a manager, choose the client account containing the relevant campaigns.
Save and verify.
Select Save. Review the account shown in Integrations, then open Google Ads and choose a date range with activity. Check report status before using the results.
Use the Connection for Reporting
Scalistro's Google connection currently selects a Google Ads account. Use it for available campaign, keyword, and performance analysis. It does not automatically connect a Google Analytics property, create conversion tracking, or launch advertising campaigns.
When checking numbers against Google Ads, compare the same customer account, time period, and conversion definitions. Conversion delays, attribution, and time-zone differences can affect reported totals. A missing or failed report should not be interpreted as zero results.
Manage Authorization
Use Re-authenticate when the Google connection needs renewed access. Make sure the chosen Google login can still access the selected customer account. The selected account remains fixed even after removal. Contact support if you need to connect a different customer account.
Use Disconnect to remove the Google connection from the brand. Imported data is retained. You can also review third-party access in your Google Account, but revoking it there may interrupt Scalistro until authorization is restored.
