Before you start
- Access to the Shopify store you want to connect.
- Permission to install apps and approve any applicable app charges.
- The correct Scalistro brand workspace and store domain.
Install Through Shopify
Open your brand's Integrations page.
Find Shopify and use the installation action provided there. The standard flow takes you to the Scalistro installation listing. Use the link from the app so you follow the current installation path.
Choose the correct Shopify store.
If you can access multiple stores, confirm the store before approving the installation. Your store's permanent myshopify.com domain may differ from its customer-facing website address.
Review Shopify's installation screen.
Read the data access and any charges shown by Shopify. Approve only after confirming the store and application. A staff member may need the store owner or an authorized administrator to complete this step.
Return to Scalistro.
Complete any sign-in or workspace selection shown by the installation flow. Review the connected store in Integrations and confirm that it belongs to the intended brand.
If Your Workspace Offers a Custom App Connection
Some workspaces expose a custom app setup flow instead of the standard installation action. Follow the values shown in that dialog. This is a separate path and is not required when the standard Shopify installation is available.
Create and configure the app.
Follow the dashboard link in Scalistro's first setup step. Copy the app URL, redirect URL, and requested scopes exactly from the dialog into the app configuration. Use the current Shopify dashboard labels and release the configuration where Shopify requires it.
Save the app credentials in Scalistro.
Enter the Client ID and Client secret in the credential fields. The saved secret is not shown again in plain text. If you replace the Client ID, provide its matching secret. Never include either secret in screenshots or support emails.
Connect the store.
Complete the distribution and installation settings described in the dialog. Enter the store's myshopify.com domain or handle, then choose Connect store. Approve the requested access in Shopify and return to the brand workspace.
Use the setup values generated for your workspace. Do not copy callback URLs, credentials, or scope lists from another brand or an old tutorial.
Check the Connected Store
Review the store shown in Integrations, then open Products and the Shopify reporting areas relevant to your task. Check the available data and report status. Installation establishes access; it does not guarantee that every historical record or report is immediately present.
Store permissions and Shopify's data-access rules can affect which information is available. An empty result may mean no activity, a different reporting period, unavailable data, or a failed request. Check the status before concluding that the store had no sales.
Remove the Shopify Connection
Remove the Scalistro app from the connected store in Shopify to disconnect it. Shopify connections cannot be removed with the ordinary provider Disconnect action in Scalistro. Review the store and any app billing information shown by Shopify before uninstalling.
If you reinstall, follow the current installation flow and confirm the store and workspace again. Contact support if the store appears linked to a different brand or the installation return cannot complete.
