Before you start
- A Facebook Page for your business, not a personal profile.
- A Facebook login with access to that Page and permission to publish.
- The correct brand workspace open in Scalistro.
Check Your Page Access
Scalistro publishes to Facebook Pages. Your personal Facebook login authorizes access, but your personal profile is not the destination. Check that you can access the intended Page before connecting.
If a colleague or agency manages the Page, ask them to confirm your access and the tasks you can perform. Business ownership, Page access, and permission to publish are related checks, but they are not interchangeable. Use Meta's current Page access settings to review them.
Select the Page in Scalistro
Open Integrations in your brand workspace.
Find Meta. If it is not connected, select Connect and then Continue with Facebook.
Authorize the appropriate Facebook login.
Review the permission request and make the Page you need available. If the browser is signed into the wrong Facebook account, correct that before granting access.
Choose Select Facebook Page.
After authorization, find the intended Page in the account selector. Compare its name carefully when several Pages have similar names.
Save the selection.
Continue through the account choices and save the accounts you selected. You do not need an Instagram account or an ad account solely to select a Facebook Page.
Review the Page on the Meta row.
The saved Page should match this brand. If Meta was already connected, use the Facebook account slot to select an available Page.
Prepare Your First Post
Open a ready social creative or Calendar and review the Facebook destination, caption, media, and schedule. Selecting a Page does not publish anything by itself. Review the final content before taking the publish or schedule action.
If publishing fails, read the error on the affected post. Check Page access, connection status, and the media requirements before retrying. Repeatedly reconnecting without fixing the reported issue may not help.
Maintain or Change the Connection
Use Meta's Re-authenticate action to refresh authorization after an access change. Keep access to the Page already selected. Removing a Page does not let you replace it with a different Page. Contact support if you need a different destination, and review scheduled posts that depend on the current one.
Disconnecting Meta also affects its other connected slots. If you only need to remove the Page selection, use that slot's action rather than disconnecting the entire provider.
